Cath Jenkin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and English. She cut her teeth in the media and communications world through her work with a Further Education and Training organisation and went on to devote her attention towards a Non-Government organisation, info4africa. As the IT and New Media Manager for info4africa, Cath spent a decade heading up their media and communications, managing their information technology systems, and expanding the programme’s reach through new media channels.

In September 2012, Cath went full-time into freelance copywriting and media consulting. She writes for a number of companies, including digital marketing agencies, non-government organisations, parenting portals and print publications.

Not just a copywriter for hire, Cath is well-known South African columnist, who currently writes for Women24, Parent24 and other portals.

She is also well versed in the creation of social media and online content, and devotes much of her energies towards content creation for tourism, FMCG, and mobile technology brands. She also provides media and strategic consultancy services to a range of Durban companies.
